God is Faithful
My Aunt Nina who is in the middle of the picture with my sister and myself, is ill. We received a call that she wasn't doing well and they (the doctors) could do nothing else for her but give her medicine to ease the pain. My cousin Jackie, Dena and I headed to Georgia to see her and the family. It was a short time, but a good time. We were able to pray with Aunt Nina and Debbie and on Monday (2 weeks later) the peace of God was still reigning, even in the midst of all that is going on. They testified about it to me, they are amazed and grateful for the visit. I was able to share the scripture below with them and tell about how God used these very verses to get me through 13 years of battling the enemy. The peace of God brought me through my families illnesses over the last 13 years, through the death of loved ones, through hurt and betrayal, no matter what the situation, God is the answer. The word of God is Life and without Him and His word, I would perish, spiritually and physically. I do not function well without the Lord anymore, I can't do it on my own, nor do I want to. That is where peace can come in and reign over and in our hearts and minds. Trusting Him, knowing Him, knowing that He only wants the best for us, and there is NOTHING that we are facing or walking through that Jesus hasn't already gained the victory over. I give God all the praise and glory and I trust Him to bring my Aunt and her family through this trial in a way that will bring Glory to His name. Pray for my family, Aunt Milly, Aunt Doris, Uncle Ronnie, Uncle Dean, Aunt Nina and Aunt Barb. They are all facing pretty severe illness and would appreciate your prayers for their families as well as themselves. Pray for salvations all through the families. Come into agreement with me for this as well as their healings. God is able. Thank you
Phil 4:4-9
4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.KJV
